REQUIREMENTS

• EMT –State License/ NREMT Certification
• The ability to work long hours without lowering the quality of care they provide
• The ability to provide care in stressful situations
• Problem-solving skills
• Critical thinking skills
• Situational awareness
• Stress management skills, composure under pressure
• People and customer service oriented, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Ability to deal with conflict situations, disrupted, frustrated or angry individuals
• De-escalation of problematic situations
• Able to identify potential safety/ security situations
• Security Officer Class D Licensure
• Valid Driver’s License
• English/ Spanish or bilingual in English and Spanish, depending on post assignment
• Ability to use smart phone applications
• Able to be alert and observe surrounding environment
• Good Report writing skills
• Good moral character, clean background
• Responsible, reliable, punctual
